Unfortunately, a device at Heilmannstraße 4 failed tonight. The Selfnet WLAN in the building is not affected by this device. We are working on getting the LAN back online in the entire building as quickly as possible.
While trying to solve our problems with the devices by software updates, some devices in the Studentendorf Ludwigsburg unfortunately failed. We drove to Ludwigsburg already in the night and started to solve the problems. We were able to put 8 devices back into operation. However, we had to finish our work at 4 o'clock at night. Our honorary members also have jobs and lectures, a longer work on site was unfortunately not possible. We will try to work further on 20.01.2023 on the restoration of the devices. Since we unfortunately don't have any volunteer members in Ludwigsburg the debug time there is sometimes a bit longer than in Stuttgart. Members who live locally could have intervened faster and also resume work faster today.

According to current information, there are still problems in: M6, M8, P6, E10, M18, M22, M11, M7 In most cases only parts of the building are affected, so you should still receive WLAN in some parts of the building.
A device has failed at the Fabrikstraße dormitory. We will take care that as far as it is possible for us volunteers to quickly fix.
Around 21:20, the problem with the other device was solved, so that the Fabrickstraße is now completely back in operation.

The switch str3-3d-2 in Straussäcker 3 unfortunately failed again one day later, although we exchanged the device for another one. Unfortunately, we do not know yet what the reason is and are still debugging. We will try to get the switch in Straussäcker 3 up and running again today.
In the Filderbahnplatz, the same switch as yesterday has already failed again today. We are trying to find a solution as soon as possible
All devices in Fildernbahnplatz 35 have been changed with the new generation.
We are on the way and will change all switches in building 35 with new ones of the multigigabit generation in the next 1-2 hours.
Today, another switch in that part of the building failed. We are trying to solve the problem here today as well.
We exchanged the device for a new Multigigabit device yesterday evening. Since then, the users on the device have a working connection again.
We currently have switch outages in Rieckestraße and Straussäcker 3D. We assume that all problems will be solved by the evening of 16.01.
