Failure in parts from Straussäcker 3

The switch str3-3d-2 in Straussäcker 3 unfortunately failed again one day later, although we exchanged the device for another one. Unfortunately, we do not know yet what the reason is and are still debugging. We will try to get the switch in Straussäcker 3 up and running again today.

  • The device was updated to a new version as part of our major software installation.

  • We were able to fix the affected switch in the Straussäcker 3 and installed special monitoring equipment for the affected device.

    • Failure in Filderbahnplatz 35

    In the Filderbahnplatz, the same switch as yesterday has already failed again today. We are trying to find a solution as soon as possible

  • All devices in Fildernbahnplatz 35 have been changed with the new generation.

  • We are on the way and will change all switches in building 35 with new ones of the multigigabit generation in the next 1-2 hours.

  • Today, another switch in that part of the building failed. We are trying to solve the problem here today as well.

  • We exchanged the device for a new Multigigabit device yesterday evening. Since then, the users on the device have a working connection again.

    Failure in Wiederholdstraße

    A switch has failed in Wiederholdstraße dorm. This has affected residents of the building. We are trying to solve the problem until this evening.

  • The device was reinstalled and the problem was solved.

    • Failure in Allmandring 4 26E

    A switch has failed at Allmandring 4 26E. This has affected some residents of the building. We are trying to solve the problem until this evening.

  • The device was replaced with a multigigabit device and the problem was solved.

    • Failure in Filderbahnplatz 31

    A switch has failed at Filderbahnplatz 31. This has affected residents of the building. We are trying to solve the problem until this evening.

  • The problem at the Filderbahnplatz was solved

    • Failure in Allmandring 1 20d

    A switch has failed at Allmandring 1 20d. This has affected residents of the building. We are trying to solve the problem until this evening.

  • The device was replaced with a multigigabit device and the problem was solved.

    WLAN (wireless 802.1x network) Partial WLAN problems in Straussäcker 1

    In Straussäcker 1, a few WLAN APs are currently down after maintenance work.

  • All WLAN devices are working again

    • Dormitory Network Switch failure Straussäcker 3D + Rieckestraße

    We currently have switch outages in Rieckestraße and Straussäcker 3D. We assume that all problems will be solved by the evening of 16.01.

  • The device in Straussäcker 3 was reinstalled and the problem was solved.

  • The problem in Rieckestraße was solved
