SelfStreaming (IPTV) SelfStreaming offline due to construction works

Due to construction works of the Allmandring 8a building the connection to our satellite dish has been severed. We expect the construction works to be completed in May or June 2025.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately we do not have any influence on the construction works of the building.

  • Self-streaming with many channels has been in operation for about three months. However, some channels are still missing, as not all satellites have been reconnected yet.

    LAN (wired network connection) Partial outage of some switches on the campus Vaihingen (University) // Teilausfall auf dem Campus Vaihingen

    UPDATE 2: The problem has been fixed and the switches are operational again. // Das Problem wurde behoben und die Switches tun wieder ihre Arbeit.

    UPDATE 1: Our guess with the power outage was correct as an electrician told us that there was indeed a short power outage this morning. // Unsere Vermutung mit dem Stromausfall (kurz, heute morgen) wurde durch einen Elektriker verifiziert.

    Some of our switches in some buildings in the dormitories on campus Vaihingen (University) are unreachable. We are investigating. At the moment the best guess is a power outage.

    ADDENDUM: In the end only 2 switches (in Allmandring I, building 8b and building 14c) have been affected.

    Zur Zeit sind einige unserer Geräte (Switche) in einigen Wohnheimgebäuden auf dem Campus Vaihingen nicht erreichbar. Wir untersuchen das gerade. Zur Zeit vermuten wir einen Stromausfall.

    NACHTRAG: Schlussendlich waren nur 2 Switche betroffen (im Allmandring I in den Gebäuden 8b und 14c).
