SelfStreaming (IPTV) SelfStreaming offline due to construction works

Due to construction works of the Allmandring 8a building the connection to our satellite dish has been severed. We expect the construction works to be completed in May or June 2025.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately we do not have any influence on the construction works of the building.

  • Self-streaming with many channels has been in operation for about three months. However, some channels are still missing, as not all satellites have been reconnected yet.

    WLAN (wireless 802.1x network) W-Lan failure

    The central Selfnet wifi is down. There seems to be a software problem with a central component. We are troubleshooting.

    All students except those in the OFD residential tower in Ludwigsburg have a LAN connection in their room. This should still work, so most students are not completely disconnected from the internet due to the outage.

  • No other errors were found. The system is therefore classified as working again.

  • We seem to have found and solved the problem. We are still monitoring to see if any other problems arise.
